Tai Hing Nylon’s FRFil-VO Characteristics

1. Self-extinguishing Function

FRFil is made of qualified V0 grade flame retardant raw material. It is reported that V0 is the highest level of flame retardancy function, the next level is V1 and the lowest level is V2. V0 flame retardancy standard is that the qualified filament is lit in two 10-second combustion tests, in which the flame is self-extinguishing within 30 seconds and no incendiary material can fall down.

Compared to some flame retardant filament of other brands, Tai Hing Nylon’s FRFil has better flame retardant effect because the raw material of FRFil contains special flame retardant factor. Some flame retardant filament of other brands is the general plastic monofilament and its surface is coated with flame retardant.

2. Safe and Harmless:

Tai Hing Nylon uses V0 grade environmental halogen-free low-phosphorus flame retardant raw material in filament production. There is less smoke when FRFil is burning.

3. Good Color Fixation

Flame retardant material does not contain metal impurities and there is no colored oxides produced during the production process. FRFil has good high temperature resistance.

4. Good Chemical Resistance

FRFil has advantages of nylon filament material, such as good straightness, bending recovery strength and excellent mechanical performance etc. Besides, FRFil has great weather resistance and chemical resistance. It can resist salt liquids, weak acids, oils, aromatic hydrocarbon resistant compounds, and general solvents.

5. Protect Function

FRFil has high-end quality and good tensile strength, which is greater than 6kg. The brush products made of FRFil have good protect function and pretty standard quality.
