Tai Hing’s 850.02 kWp Distributed Photovoltaic Project Successfully Connected to the Grid!

Release time:2025-02-07 16:07:30

On January 14, 2025, Tai Hing’s distributed photovoltaic power generation project successfully connected to the grid. Solar energy is clean, safe and reliable and it generates power on-site without consuming fuel. What’s more, solar energy is abundant and inexhaustible without producing noise or emission. This milestone marks another solid step for Tai Hing on the path to green transformation and development.

The project has a total planned capacity of 850,020.00 Wp (peak watts). It is primarily constructed on the rooftops of the Daxing factory and employee dormitories, featuring a steel structure that incorporates photovoltaic brackets and inverters, along with the installation of high-efficiency solar panels to enhance rooftop utilization.

The system's connection performance meets the requirements outlined in the "Technical Guidelines for the Connection of Low-Voltage Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation to the Grid" and the "Technical Specifications for Photovoltaic Power Stations Connecting to the Grid," issued by the State Grid Corporation of China in December 2021. This ensures the safe operation of electrical equipment on the Daxing side. Additionally, lightning protection facilities are installed to prevent damage to electrical equipment from lightning strikes and induced lightning waves.

Throughout the entire construction process, all parties involved demonstrated a spirit of "not fearing difficulties, persevering relentlessly, and striving for progress," working overtime to complete various tasks. Through the close collaboration between Guangdong Hexin Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Tai Hing Company’s electrical team, the project was successfully connected to the grid. Although the process was filled with challenges, the results are gratifying.

Once completed, the project is expected to provide the company with 833,100 to 1,018,200 kWh of clean electricity annually, making a significant contribution to the company’s grid regulation. This initiative will significantly reduce the annual emissions of ash, wastewater, and smoke, greatly improving the energy structure of Jianghai High-tech Zone. It will bring notable social and environmental benefits to the local area, promoting energy transformation and economic and social development in the high-tech zone.
